Going To The Doctor

Today both of the boys had checkups at the doctor - Parker for his 5 year well visit and Wesley for his 15 month well visit. As part of Parker's checkup, he got his blood pressure checked, took a hearing test and had to read the eye chart. The eye chart was cool because it was all shapes and he passed with 20/30 vision in both eyes. For the hearing test they wanted Parker to raise his hand when he heard the sound - at first all he was doing was scrunching up his face when he heard the noise! :) But then he caught on and he passed that test with flying colors too! Parker now weighs 41.5 pounds and is 43.25 inches tall! Wesley did great at his checkup too and he is now weighing in at 25.6 pounds and is 33.5 inches long. That makes him a 1.5 inch taller and 2 pounds heavier than Bubby was at his age!

Also both of the boys had to get shots today - Parker got one and Wesley got two. Wesley went first and cried a little, while Parker was right up there comforting him. But it was a different story when it was Parker's turn - he was so unhappy and trying to get away. But he was very happy when we told him he could come home and play some Wii (he got a new "CARS MaterNational Game" yesterday).
