Christmas Nativity and Christmas Light Tour

Friday night we visited the Living Nativity at Parrish UMC in the north end of the district. It was very well done at all of the scenes. They had animals borrowed from a nearby farm (which included a baby kangaroo).

And then Saturday night after the Messiah concert, the five of us went looking at a couple of different neighborhoods arounds Sarasota with lights. It was a lot of fun!

Christmas Light Tour

We did our annual Christmas light tour through Lake County this past weekend and it was lovely. A few familiar places and a few new ones.

First, Tavares - downtown and through Wooten Park along Lake Dora

Then along the lakeshore over to Mount Dora. And of course there was a stop for ice cream.

Our next stop was along the lakeshore in downtown Eustis in Ferran Park and the Eustis Lake Walk.

Finally, we finished up close to home at Venetian Gardens along Lake Harris in Leesburg.

It was a lovely beautiful evening of having out together as a family. Thankful for this chance to breathe deep and relax.
