Rays Game

Wesley went to a Rays game with a friend last week and they caught 4 balls during batting practice! 

That sort of made up for the fact that the Rays lost the game. 

 

Father's Day - Boys' Night Out

On Wednesday night this week the boys took Daryl out to celebrate Father's Day with a trip to the newly remodeled Tropicana Field for a Rays game. Thankfully the Rays won. And the guys had excellent seats a few rows back from the Rays dugout. 

 

Sports Ball

And while I was away in Kansas, the boys went to see the Rays play in their temporary stadium in Tampa (Yankees training facility). They really enjoyed watching baseball outdoors (even though our home team lost). 

 

Parker Spring Break

Daryl and Parker went to see a Rays spring training game in Port Charlotte this last week, since Parker was home fror spring beak. And the Rays won with a walk off home run.   

 

 

More Sports

With the boys still away on their campout, Daryl and I snuck in a Rays game on Saturday afternoon. 

That was a fun treat!

Rays Game - On Fire!

Last minute we decided to head to a Rays game with their new $10 outfield ticket pricing. They've been on fire this season and are the only undefeated team left in baseball right now (early days yes, but still!) This is also their 25th anniversary season. 

 

Wesley drove to the game - across the Sunshine Skyway bridge! (Parker drove over it on the way home). 

The second inning was beautiful with a Rays grand slam. 

We won of course! 9-5. The place was super excited! 

Weekend in Review

Parker came home for the weekend. The fur babies were super glad to see him! 

I spent time on Saturday at yoga and walking a labyrinth while Daryl and Parker went for haircuts. 

And then we all went to dinner on Siesta Key and off to another spring training baseball game - this time in Bradenton at the Pirates stadium. Even though the Pirates lost, it was a good experience and we enjoyed the fireworks at the end.  

More Spring Training

 On Tuesday night, Baba took Parker and Wesley to another spring training game while Parker was home on spring break. This time they went to CoolToday Park in North Port, which is the Atlanta Braves spring training facility. The Braves lost to the Red Sox, but they still had a good time at the game and checking out the stadium. 

And Wesley caught a ball in between innings that one of the players threw up into the stands                (bare handed, and one handed!
