Three Amigos Weekend

We had a great weekend with friends! The Wrights came down from Jacksonville to spend time with us. Princess Isadora turns 1 in a couple of weeks and we won't be able to be there for the party. So the boys wanted to make sure she received her present and got to open it in front of them - a turtle with stacking blocks. She and Davis had a wonderful time playing with that and all of her other toys. 

In the afternoon, the Sheppards made a trip up from Tampa to visit with everyone as well. So all Three Amigos  - Mike, Daryl and Jonathan - were back together again. 

Dinner was a special treat as Jonathan and Daryl made tacos for our two families. 

The boys had a sleepover in the manacle with Nicholas and the cat decided to join them too. They even set up the laser light from Parker's room! 

There was lots of snuggle time with the baby. How could you not snuggle with this little one? 

Memorial Day Weekend Fun

Saturday and Sunday of this weekend we got to spend time hanging out with our friends the Wrights who were down from Jacksonville. Miss Isadora or Princess Izzy is just a little over 3 months old now and it was her first trip to Ocala. We all had fun entertaining the baby.

Saturday afternoon dinner was awesome as usual. The guys grilled steaks and had tater tots and mashed potatoes as sides along with macaroni salad, cole slaw and garlic bread.

 

We had another treat this weekend as well. Jonathan brought his new motorcycle down while Tanya and the kids rode in the car. Parker, Wesley and I all took a spin with Jonathan on the bike. 

 

Three Amigos Wedding Take Two

After our trip to the Master Gardeners Festival and then bowling last Saturday we got lunch and headed down to Brandon for take two on the Three Amigos Wedding from last month. It was time for Mike and Rachael to mark their marriage in front of their family and then to celebrate with a great reception party at the home of Rachael's parents. 

The backyard had a giant bounce house for the kids and also a photo spot that made the party lots of fun - Davis' new best friend for the day was Rachael's 5 year old son Bryson. There was plenty of delicious food and even a trivia game to see how well their family and friends knew Mike and Rachael. 

Three Amigos Baby

Our weekend started with a Three Amigos wedding in Gainesville and ended with a Three Amigos baby in Jacksonville. We headed up late Sunday afternoon to spend time with Jonathan and his wife Tanya to celebrate the birth of their daughter. Beautiful Isadora was born last Wednesday. Auntie Debbie and Uncle Daryl got lots of good snuggle time with the princess.

This morning all the boys headed off to play video games at Dave and Buster's while the girls went to the pediatrician's office for Izzy's first checkup. She's healthy and happy and such a good baby.

Little Miss and I got extra bonding time today while Tanya got the chance to nap. Sweet baby girl had so many fun expressions. And when the boys came back, Mr-You-Are-MY-Mommy laid next to us on the couch and used my legs for a race car track.

It was such a nice and relaxing way to spend our holiday. We're so very happy for Jonathan, Tanya and big brother Nicholas.
