Pool Time

With the hot weather, we've been enjoying the pool in the late afternoons/early evenings 

as the sun is going down. Grateful for this space and the opportunity. 

  

South West Florida Life

Our pool was leaking and it turned out the leak was coming from the skimmer basket which was degrading. So the repair folks came out this week and replaced the whole thing. 

Daryl had a visit to a sick church member in Bradenton this week so he popped by my office on his way!

Thursday night we kicked off our weekend by attending a sound bath event on Nokomis Beach at sunset. So incredibly relaxing. 

Back in the Pool

The first day of April it was just warm enough to get in the pool. Daryl floated and I sat on the edge with my feet tucked in. But Davis and Caspian went swimming and had  a lot of fun. 

And by the evening both dogs were so exhausted that they passed out on my lap. 

 

Weekend in Review

Davis got his Covid booster over the weekend. He was supposed to get it a few months back, but got Covid in May (the rest of us did not get it from him). He woke up a little under the weather on Sunday but is doing better now. 

When we got back from vacation, the party continued with the boys in the pool. This was Parker's first chance to really swim and hang out with us. 

And on Sunday morning, Parker and Wesley went to church with Daryl at Grace and he got to pray over them for Back to School. The younger two go back on Wednesday this week and Parker moves into the dorm on August 20th. 

 

Random Scenes of Life

Yes that's a deer in our neighbor's yard. The dogs always need to be leashed in the evening to do their business because - there are deer around! 

The corgi swims, but he really enjoys chilling in the pool floats. 

And the boys are LOVING the pool. 

 

 

Fun in our Own Backyard

Our new parsonage has a pool on the back patio. The boys have been enjoying it every day that they've been home. Daryl and I relaxed in the pool with the boys on Sunday night. 

And we have a furry friend who likes to swim in the pool as well!
