St Augustine - Playing Tourist

Daryl and I played tourist in our free time at the Cabinet and spouse retreat. We love St. Augustine! 

We visited three different labyrinths - Flager College behind their Alumni House 

St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church in the Lincolnville suburb 

And the UCC Church south of town. 

We walked around downtown for Night of Lights. Picture don't do this justice - it was so beautiful in person. 

We visited the beautiful  Greek Orthodox Shrine again 

We visited the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum and walked all the way up to the top - 219 steps or 14 stories!

Catching Up

The last week before vacation included some labyrinth walks and a couple of worship visits. 

One worship visit was to Trinity UMC in North Port - they're getting ready to host VBS in English and Russian for the Ukrainian kids in their neighborhood. 

And then the traditional worship service with Daryl and Sarah at Grace UMC in Venice.
