Over the weekend these two rode their bikes together - for over 9 miles! 

 

Labor Day Outdoors

For Labor Day we decided to spend time as a family (minus Parker who had class) outside in nature getting some exercise. We explored the north end of the Legacy Trail that none of us had been on yet. We parked at Ashton Trailhead near Davis' school and went six miles north up to the end of the Trail at Fruitville Road. We also made a slight detour and stop at Payne Park near downtown. Total of 12.30 miles and a wonderful time getting exercise outdoors. 

 

Boys and Bikes

Daryl, Wesley and Davis hit the Legacy trail this past weekend. Wesley had been asking for a while to try it out and Davis agreed to go. 

Pre-ride at the house  

They started towards the south end of the trail and did five miles down into Venice and back. 

The boys LOVED it! Especially the bridges, and the big bridge over Tamiami Trail.
