Renewal Leave - Part Fifteen - Odds and Ends

Friday we spent out running errands and shopping for Wesley and Parker. We also popped by the library to do early voting! 

On Saturday, I was able to go to yoga, stop by for a labyrinth walk with an iced coffee and then go get my haircut and a pedicure. It was a good day and a nice way to end this renewal leave. 

 

Civic Duty

Parker came home again this weekend for a check up for his oral surgery; he seems to be healing well and is back to eating regular food. And while he was in town we went ahead and voted early. We were out running some errands so we voted at the North Sarasota library and we walked right in. This was his first presidential election and he was excited to vote. 

 

Civic Duty

Saturday was the first day of early voting here in Sarasota County for primaries about a congressional seat, hospital board and also school board. We all went to the library to vote since none of us will be available on the actual primary day (20th). 

And this former social studies teacher is getting a little excited for the general election in November.....
