Covenant Group Retreat

My covenant group met up earlier this week at the Mermaid Vibes VRBO in Bradenton. Beautiful little spot with a lovely outdoor space to relax. 

On Monday we spent most of the day just hanging out by the pool and in the hot tub. 

We even used the slide!

Tuesday included yoga with my yogi instructor, pedicures, seafood and time walking on the beach. 

It was a great getaway! 

The Week at a Glance

Sunday I preached at Trinity UMC Bradenton and afterwards they packed 30,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger. 

Monday, I met an old friend for lunch - and I had vegan, gluten free oat pancakes. Delicious! 

Monday night was the Bishop's Regional Gathering in Tampa. 

Tuesday night, Daryl came home after spending a couple of nights with his clergy covenant buddies. 

Tuesday and Wednesday I drove out to visit some church leaders at First UMC Avon Park and then Trinity UMC in North Port. 

It was a good week! 

 

Beach Covenant Time

Sunday night through Wednesday, I spent time in Port Saint Joe with my covenant sisters. Latricia owns a house a few blocks away from the water that used to belong to another clergy friend of ours. It was lovely and relaxing. And we had a fabulous time hanging out and walking around the coast and the bay.

And on my last morning, a solitary morning walk at low tide. So pretty. And relaxing.
