We went to Seffner on Saturday night to celebrate Daniel's birthday.... he's 40 + 7 now!

 

Christmas Day 2025

We spent Christmas in Seffner with family. We had breakfast and then did pictures and opened presents. Later we had a big lunch and hung out together. It turned out to be a really nice day.

Thanksgiving with Family

There were 18 of us today in Seffner: Our five plus Grandmommy, Daniel, Dawn, Micah, Bethany, Kayla and her boyfriend Ab; Uncle David and Aunt Barbara, Uncle Kelly and Uncle Nam; plus Aunt Janice and her boyfriend Tom who were down from Georgia.

We celebrated Wesley's 18th birthday!

Since this is the year that Grandmommy broke her hand, we spent some time afterwards getting down some of the Christmas decorations from the shelves to make setup a little easier for her. 

 

Family Birthdays

 We celebrated all 4 September birthdays this weekend in Seffner!

 Grandmommy turns 73. 

 

Aunt Barbara turns 70. 

Uncle Kelly turns 66. 

And Micah's girlfriend Mikki had a birthday too! 

Family Time

 

 Saturday we spent time in Seffner for Aunt Dawn's birthday celebration.  

While we were there, the boys found a picture in the closet of the old Sea Castle motel where we all used to stay on Siesta Key beach. Down in the bottom of the picture is a huge sandcastle on the beach that their dad built with them. What a cool blast from the past.

Saturday we had a family birthday celebration in Seffner for Davis, me and Uncle David. It was nice to see everyone and celebrate together. 

 

 

Family Birthday Celebration

We celebrate Parker's birthday and Uncle Nam's birthday finally with family this weekend in Seffner. It was good to see the boy again and hug his neck. He's been busy this week applying for a summer internship (not camp) and working on his graduate school application for an MBA program.

 

Christmas Day 2024

Christmas Day we woke up at home. The boys opened their stockings before we left for Seffner. 

 

Our celebration in Seffner included Grandmommy, Daniel's crew and Micah's girlfriend and Kayla's boyfriend.

We had lunch in the afternoon after presents and made it home in time to take a cloudy sunset walk on the beach. A couple of families had dragged down decorated trees to the shore! 

 

Thanksgiving Break - Part Three

We got these lovely flowers delivered this week from someone at Daryl's church in Venice. 

 

For the actual Thanksgiving day, we headed home to Seffner to spend it with family. Joyce made me some allergy friendly sides and I made a few others. Plus I brought a Thanksgiving punch (cranberry juice, apple juice, orange juice, sparkling water and Fireball whiskey!)

We celebrated Wesley turning 17 - actually on Thanksgiving day this year!

And celebrated Daryl turning 51 (on Friday).
