Weekend Fun

Saturday after my workout, I went to get my hair done and walked a labyrinth at Church of the Palms in Sarasota. 

 

 

Meanwhile Daryl and all of the boys went to Tropicana Field for a Rays yard sale. $20 a bag for merchandise plus a voucher for 2 free tickets. Each of them got two bags full of merch: hats, t-shirts, jackets, cups, bobbleheads, lanyards and more! 

 

And then Daryl and I went to a wedding in Venice for the church's preschool director. 

 

New Hair

Davis has been wanting a different hair cut for a while. But the folks at Sports Clips really don't understand how to cut Asian hair. So we researched Asian hair styles and also barbers in the area. Yesterday after school I took him to Fresko Fadez Barbershop in Sarasota who has the best reviews for working with Asian men's hair. Jose did an amazing transformation on Davis' hair and gave him exactly what he was looking for. He was so happy when we left. And then we went to Target to get him some hair supplies to be able to recreate his look at home.

These handsome guys all got their haircut before summer vacation. 

A Change of Hair

Wesley decided on Sunday night that he wanted a haircut. He was getting tired of his longer hair. Daryl gave him a great haircut and suddenly he looks older!

Fathers and Sons

Daryl has taken on cutting the boys' hair most of the time now. He got new trimmers and Wesley asked for a haircut this weekend. This is how you do haircuts when your kid is taller than you!
