I drove down to Fort Myers on Sunday morning to preach at Tice UMC where I first started in ministry. It was good to be home again. So many of our old friends are still there and two of the members of our youth group came back to visit at worship.
Then I had lunch with a couple of pastors from the Fort Myers Cape Coral area.
And after one more meeting in the area, I walked a labyrinth behind the local Hospice house.
Grace Venice celebrated the graduating seniors in the 9am worship service.
Daryl and Sarah hosted a new member class after worship at Grace Venice with 11 new members present.
Since it was so close to Cinco de Mayo, that was the theme for the decorations and lunch.
