Forever Vintage in Winter Haven - Daryl and I drove on Friday morning to the store where we bought the Disney chairs last year and bought new curtains for the dining room to finish it off. If you zoom in on the picture you can see the Mickey heads. These are also from Beach Club Resort.
Hunsader Farms in Bradenton - we stopped here on the way home and found all kinds of amazing produce. We will definitely be back!
College Student Home for the Weekend - Parker has been away at school for seven weeks. We were supposed to go to Lakeland this weekend for Family Weekend, but there were no official activities this weekend that we were really interested in. So Parker decided to come home. Daryl and I have seen him a couple of times at camp and the Gator game, but not his brothers. We didn't tell his brothers he was coming home so it was a big surprise Friday night for Davis and Wesley.
The dog was also ecstatic to have Parker home.
We got in some relaxing time in the pool as well before the cold front hit.
Saturday dinner - pork roast with fresh corn on the cob from the farm.
Backyard wildlife - we spotted a deer on Saturday and couldn't get a picture quick enough but we managed to get a couple of pictures of this turtle making his way across our backyard.
After Parker headed back to Lakeland on Sunday afternoon, Daryl and I took a cloudy sunset walk at the beach. It was a beautiful way to end the weekend.
