On the way home from church we had picked up a newspaper. Parker loves to flip through the newspaper and when he looked at the sports page he ran to show Daddy and Clark that he had found the draft! Sure enough he was pointing to all the pictures of the top round picks holding their jerseys!
Day two of the draft proved to be better as the Buccaneers and the 49ers started making picks that made more sense to both Daddy and Clark. Later in the day the big guys were switching between watching the draft and the Rays game on TV. Parker got very upset and insisted that they go back to the draft!!!
All the excitement from the draft and having Clark here wiped poor Parker out. He crashed out on the sofa and slept for over 2 hours in the late afternoon.
