Next week is VBS at church and our theme is "Beach Party - Surfin' The Word." For our mission giving we will be raising funds for the Heifer Project again and have a competition between the classes. Grandmommy graciously loaned us her cow banks again, which are made from the large cow in her ceramic nativity set (Mommy and Daddy had banks like this in their Sunday school classes growing up in Seffner to collect monies for the Heifer Project too). But one of the VBS teachers decided that the cow banks needed a beach makeover to go along with our theme. And here's the result:
