Beach Vacation - Part Four

Friday was our last full day at the beach and we shared it with Grandmommy, Granddaddy, The A-Gang as well as Uncle Clark and Uncle Sam, who were home visiting from school (Clark from FSU and Sam from Murray State). We had a great day of riding the waves, playing in the sand, swimming in the pool, taking some naps, dinner altogether outside again (thanks Grandmommy) and then walking on the beach and watching the sunset.

Annual cousin picture at the beach.

Hanging out to watch the sunset.

Walking down south to the wall at the Point of Rocks.

And our final sunset on the beach....

We close our reflections on vacation this year at the beach by saying goodbye to an old friend. The Sea Castle Motel, where Daddy's family vacationed for over twenty years, was torn down in January. Here's a picture of Sea Castle from last summer (standing to the north from Crescent Towers)....

So the patch of land next to Crescent Towers is now a construction site. The massive crane is working on putting up a high rise by Hyatt - check out their fractional ownership and what the result will look like next year.
