Fun With the Allens

So Parker had "the bug" on Monday. He was feeling better on Tuesday but had to stay home because you can't go back to school until 24 hours have passed since you last threw up. So Wednesday he went back to school and was very happy.

We watched Wesley carefully and had tried to keep them separated and thought we were in the clear..... but no such luck. He woke up from his late afternoon nap on Wednesday screaming and we went in to discover that he had thrown up in his crib. That was round 1. Suffice to say that round 7 didn't finish up until bedtime and by then he had also christened the office, the living room, the kitchen (3x) and MOMMY!

And while Wesley had been so concerned when Parker was sick on Monday - when Parker threw up on the living room floor, Wesley immediately ran for a towel - Parker did not return the favor. Picture please our preschooler standing on the top of the back of the couch yelling "I don't want him puking on me!" When we said something to Parker, he said it was because he didn't want to sick again. And who can blame him? Mommy and Daddy were certainly ready to sign up for another trip to anywhere last night if it would have gotten us out of clean up duties!
