On Saturday when we were at the Pumpkin Patch with Grandma, we picked out our big family pumpkin for carving (many thanks to Grandma for buying the pumpkin for us!) So tonight when Mommy got home from her meeting and the boys got home from t-ball practice, we decided to try and tackle carving the pumpkin. Parker had picked out a "CARS" pattern book and tools at Hobby Lobby this week. He wanted to use King on the pumpkin. So here we go.....
To our surprise, this verigated pumpkin smelled like a cantaloupe inside, was not super slimy and the stuff inside came out pretty easy. Definitely a plus!!!
And the final result....well after the kids had gone to bed....3.5 hours after starting......
Now we just hope the kids like it in the morning!
