The Birthday Boy

Today marked Parker's 6th Birthday. It is so hard to believe that this little guy..........

has turned into this young man.

He started off by taking mini cupcakes to school to share with his classmates and teachers. When we picked him up from school, he was so excited to show us what he had picked out of the birthday box as a present. Would you believe he picked out this little stuffed Shamu for his baby brother? When we asked him why he said because he saw it in the box and knew he already had a big one from Sea World but Wesley didn't and Wesley loves Shamu. Plus Wesley is his best friend!

It was just Mommy and Daddy who picked up the boy from school though today and we took him for a little surprise.....to Chuck E Cheese to play arcade games! He had about 25 tokens from the last time we were there several months ago and we bought some more to go with it. He turned his tokens into 186 tickets, mostly off of Skee Ball, which is his favorite game.

Later we picked up Wesley and ran some errands before going to dinner at Cody's. The boys love to eat here since Miss Rael introduced them to it. Who doesn't love a restaurant where you can write on the table and throw your peanut trash on the floor? Parker was slightly disappointed that no one sang Happy Birthday to him at the restaurant with a cake. But that's because we had a Carvel ice cream cake waiting for him at home! And we let him open up one of his birthday presents - an MLB game for the Wii! The rest of the birthday presents will wait until Sunday when we go home to Seffner to celebrate with the family.
