Orlando Vacation - Thursday

Grandma arrived back at the condo early on Thursday morning and after breakfast we headed out to do some shopping at IKEA - we all love that store! After wandering around, we actually ate lunch there. Then we went to check out we had a bit of an experience. Grandma's credit card fell down inside one of the self-checkout machines. It took two very nice men, one drill and about thirty minutes for them to dismantle the machine and retrieve the card.

From there we headed back to I-Drive for some more putt-putt. We stopped at Pirate's Cove which actually has two different 18 hole courses - Captain's Course and Blackbeard's Challenge. We did them both. Daddy of course won both rounds. Grandma and Mommy tied a few strokes behind him on the first round and on the second round Grandma managed to pull one stroke ahead of Mommy. Not bad considering Grandma hadn't played putt-putt in about 25 years!

After a couple of hours in the sun trudging up and down the hill at Pirate's Cove, we went to Friendly's for dinner. And then we headed back to Sea World. We got there about seven o'clock and went straight into the Shamu Rocks show. Much different from the early morning show, but still really awesome.

After the show, we let the boys play in Shamu's Happy Harbor on the nets and then on the rides. Both the boys did the Ocean Commotion and the Shamu Express coaster, and Wesley also did the Swishie Fishies (spinning teacups), the Jazzie Jellies (spinning teacups in the air) and the Flying Fiddler. When the fireworks started at 9:50pm, we headed over to the Bayside stadium to catch the show which also includes a water fountain show in the lake.

After the show was over, we made our way back to the cars and the condo to put two very tired little boys into bed.
