Last Friday night, Parker had his first baseball practice at the Sportsplex.
His team is the Rangers.
We met the coach, John Goff, and the two assistant coaches.
Mr. Goff has coached several times before and one of his sons is on the team.
At first, Mr. Goff had everyone out on the field in two groups with the assistant coaches
while he had a meeting with the team mom and parents about what to expect this season.
We have never gotten this much information before on any t-ball team!
Then they divided the twelve boys up into three groups of four and
practiced fielding/throwing, batting and running the bases.
He has practice the next two weeks on Mondays and Thursdays
before the games start in October.
