Friday I spent most of the day in Tampa with Grandma at Moffitt.
She had three appointments scheduled:
get her bloodwork checked
see the oncologist for a report on her PET scan
and get her 4th monthly bone infusion
Things went very well.
Dr. Han reported that Grandma's cancer has responded to the treatments
and has shrunk significantly.
Some of the lymph nodes that were involved are now clear.
Some of the spots in the bones are gone and others are smaller.
And the large primary tumor is smaller as well.
We are so happy to celebrate this great news with her!
She will continue on this same treatment regimen of daily pill and monthly infusion
at least for the next few months.
