Ocali Days

Last Wednesday all the first grade classes at South Ocala took a field trip to Silver River State Park and Museum for Ocali Country Days. Daryl got to tag along as a chaperone for Wesley's class. He had three other boys in his group besides Wesley. Ocali Country Days is a chance to experience life in our area from the late 1800s.

Extracting juice from sugarcane! The kids waited in line to do this and had an absolute blast!

This guy got an awesome snake painted on his face.

All the guys had a really nice time and seemed to enjoy the day out in the fresh air and sunshine.
