Shhhh!! It was a surprise! The party that is, not the retirement! Grandmommy retired at the end of September after 27 years working for First Presbyterian Church in Brandon (she'd worked for many years at Seffner Methodist church before that!). The family threw her a surprise party the first Friday in October and we drove home to be a part of it. Thankfully it managed to be a surprise!
We're so happy for her to be able to retire and for her and Granddaddy to enjoy retirement together.
