Sunday afternoon I drove down to Plant City to meet my best friend Christy for a Reba concert at the Strawberry Festival. We did some walking around and checking things out before the concert. It's been 10 years since I've been to the Festival and everything looks completely different! It sure has grown and changed over the years. New buildings for just about everything.
FFA animal and plant shows
There's a new building with all the history stuff and the pictures of the pageant queens. This one is related to Daryl.
The Midway had some of my favorite rides, just renamed. This one used to be the Graviton.
There's a brand new stadium this year for concerts! It was great and the sound was amazing. 11,500 people for a sold out Reba concert.
My best friend Christy grew up in Hillsborough County going to the Festival every year too. We didn't meet though until 2009 when we moved to Marion County.
