On Friday Parker's 8th grade class traveled to Universal Studios Orlando for Gradventure 2018. I was excited to be one of the chaperones for the trip. I haven't been to Universal since 1996 - Parker has been three times in the last few years with church and with the band and knows his way around. Our group had 17 kids and two chaperones (one of the language arts teachers was with us too). We got to the park at 3:30 in the afternoon and didn't leave until midnight! We spent most of our time in the Islands of Adventure Park and managed to sneak in some time at the Universal park as well. There were middle school students from all around the state filling the park from 7pm on. So glad Parker and his friends had fun, and that I got to tag along.
