Thanksgiving and Family Fun Day

We had a lovely Thanksgiving day with family at Grandmommy's house.  Delicious food, great company, good conversation and fun together.

Some of the cousins wanted to see how they were doing in terms of height with the uncles.
There is no black Friday for us - Friday is always Family Fun day. Grand mommy started it off for the kids with doughnuts!

Daryl went out to visit his dad at Seffner Cemetery. At a certain point I went out to Garden of Memories in Tampa to visit all the relatives there and leave flowers. I spent every holiday as a child with my mom and my grandma bringing flowers out to the cemetery for my Grandpa Jack, Great-Grandma Nancy and Great-Uncle Warren. Everyone's headstone looked good, except for Uncle Warren. I went up to the office to complain about their section - what a difference from last year to this year in terms of care.

Back at Grandmommy's house, Parker found a raccoon getting cozy in her palm tree!

In the late afternoon, Uncle Daniel and Aunt Dawn arranged for us to go over to an escape room in Tampa. We did the Indiana Jones room and it was a lot of fun! We solved it and escaped with almost 20 minutes to spare!!! Afterwords you are invited to sign your name on their walls and we got a fun group picture.

We did a little walking around downtown Tampa's River Walk before heading to dinner in Brandon. Love seeing how much Tampa's downtown has been developed and revitalized. And there were people everywhere since the Lightning were playing a home game!
