Change of Plans

Davis spent Wednesday morning at the UF Orthodontic Clinic in Gainesville. We thought we were going for the final impressions for Davis' palate expander. Turns out the orthodontic resident consulted with the head orthodontist and they decided Davis did not need an expander after all. His face has grown some in the last six months. So....they put in full braces instead - upper and lower - to help turn the upper front two teeth from being angled back and to move his bottom front four teeth closer together.  We were there for four hours all told. He did very well. He actually fell asleep while they were putting the rubber bands on at the end.
