Christmas Day

We woke up on Christmas Day in our own beds for probably only the third time in the last twenty years. It was nice to be able to be home and watch the boys open their stockings. Then they gave the pets their presents which included treats!

We were out of the house by 9am and headed to Seffner to share in family Christmas with Grandmommy and Uncle Daniel's family.

Uncle Daniel played Santa and handed out all the gifts.

Davis took a picture of all his gifts afterwards!

Wesley got a cool drone and had fun playing with it in the backyard.

We had a lovely lunch together and got home around 5:30pm. The kids had fun putting together Davis' lego sets and we watched the new movie, Soul, on Disney+. It was fantastic!

We ended the night by covering up the garden for the hard freeze and then going out for a family walk around the neighborhood with the dogs. It was a cold but really beautiful clear evening and a lot of fun. It turned out to be a really good Christmas all the way around.
