Friday morning was the Senior Scholarship Awards Ceremony. They had a slideshow of all the graduating seniors with their yearbook pictures going in the background - Parker will alphabetically be the 2nd senior to graduate. He was able to stand up and be recognized for the 3 scholarships he received from Florida Southern College (the Pfeiffer Scholarship, the Robert Fryer Jr Business Scholarship and the Cristoverson Scholarship) and also for the Sinclair Scholarship that he is receiving from the Florida United Methodist Foundation.
We are super proud of him and and his accomplishments! Including being one of only two Leesburg High School students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. This was for his involvement in the culinary arts program and he recently received a certificate of completion for this program from Chef Bell and Lake County too.
