Easter at Grace

Sunday morning started early with sunrise service on the beach for Grace UMC at Service Club Park just a couple of blocks away from Grace's campus on the island. They haven't had a sunrise service in years and not on the beach to anyone's recollection. Daryl was hoping for 50 people - 201 people showed up! The boys even got up early to come with us to the beach. It was AMAZING!

And then I took the boys to Starbucks and we met Daryl back at church for the 9am contemporary service. Again another beautiful service of music and preaching and the energy and excitement were palpable. There were 178 people at that service.

We got another set of pictures from the Easter photo booth.

Then it was time for the Easter egg hunt. They had a member who is a trumpet player kick things off - the kids had a blast scooping up a ton of eggs.

Daryl stayed for the last service at church. 11am was the biggest one yet with 266 people! They ended dup with a total of 641 for the day which is more than triple the number they had last year for Easter worship. At home the boys watched futbol on the TV while I made dinner. We ate when Daryl got home and spend time relaxing and hanging out in the pool. It was a lovely day.
