Wednesday night the big oak tree on the corner of our pool cage went bye-bye - deliberately.
We were afraid that this would come down in another hurricane.
Plus it covers well over a third of our pool cage, dropping leaves and pollen onto the screen.
We wanted the new screens to last longer.
And we were hoping for the side benefit of a slightly warmer pool with it getting more sunlight.
The tree people put on one heck of a show -
removing the tree limb by limb with a crane anchored in our driveway.
