Last Sunday in the afternoon, I spent time in Bradenton and Sarasota with our district Lay Leader at Lay Leader gatherings. It was really nice to see some of the folks gathered together.
The Sarasota gathering was at Trinity UMC - they have this lovely new prayer garden they put in last year.
On Wednesday I got to record a podcast on spiritual direction for the Western North Carolina Conference and then talk about the Parable of the Prodigal Son on a Zoom Lenten Bible study for a church in Naples.
And on Thursday morning, I held an online group spiritual direction retreat for five clergywomen from around the FLUMC. This is some of the materials I mailed all of them in advance of the retreat - we'll be reading parts of these books over the next four months.
