I started off the week with Palm Sunday at First UMC Bradenton for their cantata.
I had a meeting at a church in North Port - they just redid their memorial garden.
I spent Maundy Thursday at Harvest UMC in Lakewood Ranch.
Good Friday morning began early with the stations of the cross processional through downtown Sarasota.
I was the reader at Station 12 where Jesus dies.
Station 11 was First UMC Sarasota and the readers were two Methodist ministers - Linda Tice from Trinity UMC and Woody Woodward, the associate pastor at First.

We finished up with a prayer service at the Episcopal church downtown, two blocks from my office.
Then I went home and picked up the kids and we drove to Venice for Daryl's noon Good Friday service. I got to be one of the readers with him and Sarah.
