Last 8th Grade Promotion

Thursday was Davis' 8th grade promotion ceremony. It was held in the gym at the high school where he will join Wesley in the fall - Riverview High. 

He was the 5th kid to walk and then we had to wait for the over 400 other kids to walk! But they did recognize Davis for his three years of music in middle school. 

This was Davis on the first day of 8th grade and his last day. 

 

We were grateful to have Grandmommy come down to celebrate with us at the ceremony and then the dinner afterwards at Oak and Stone where he got a few presents. 

It was a fun time. Hard to believe this is our last 8th grade promotion ceremony. We are officially done with middle school.
