Car Conversations

Mommy picked Parker up at Angels this evening and on the way home had several very interesting conversations. It's always fun to get a glimpse into the inner workings of Parker's mind. Here's the most interesting exchange from our car ride tonight.

Setting - As we're stopped to make a turn, we see a man on a motorcycle on a side street at a stop sign. He's only wearing a pair of jeans, no shirt and no shoes.

Parker - Mommy why is that man naked outside?
Mommy - Is he really naked?
Parker - Well he doesn't have on a shirt! You have to wear clothes or the cops can take you to jail!
Mommy - To jail for not wearing clothes?
Parker - Yeah! He needs a shirt and shoes too. You can't be naked outside.
Mommy - So you can be naked inside?
Parker - No, you have to wear clothes then too!
Mommy - But you don't always wear clothes in the house.
Parker - Yes I do!
Mommy - No, sometimes you just run around in a t-shirt and undies. Does that mean the cops can come and take you to jail?
Parker - I don't want to talk about this anymore!!!!

Of course it was better with the facial expressions, hand gestures and sighing that was accompanying Parker's side of the dialogue, but you get the idea!
