Wesley's Baptism

Saturday morning dawned early and Mommy drove Miss Amy back to the Tampa airport and then returned to finish up sessions at Annual Conference. Then the family packed up and headed to Seffner for Wesley's baptism. Phillip graciously agreed to meet us after Annual Conference so that we could finally get Wesley baptized.

Grandma and Grandpa were in attendance, as well as Grandmommy and Grandaddy, Grannie, Aunt Jani, Miss Joan and Uncle Daniel, Aunt Dawn and the cousins. It was a beautiful service and we thank Phillip so much for making a special trip out of his way to do this for us. He had the entire family take the vows about helping to raise Wesley in faith and mentioned in his prayer all of the churches that would take part in raising him. We used some of the water from the Jordan River that Mommy's Aunt Susan brought back from Israel (we had used this at Parker's baptism also). Afterwards, the family had a little party in the church narthex with punch and a special cake that Grandmommy made.

(More pictures to follow especially of Daddy's side of the family from Uncle Daniel and Aunt Dawn's camera)
