Surprise!

So Sunday the church managed to pull off a couple of surprises on Mommy. First, as she processed in during the prelude, everyone stood up and clapped to congratulate her on her ordination. Then after church, instead of the regular coffee fellowship was a surprise party complete with a huge sheet cake to recognize her achievement. One lady had gotten the idea to do this and called Daddy to doublecheck and make sure the timing would be okay. Then she called the prayer line and had them help her call the entire church directory to let people know about the party. And so as not to give the first two surprises away, the third surprise was waiting for Mommy on the road sign when we took Parker to karate on Monday night:
