Catchin' Up

Anniversary: Wednesday night Mommy and Daddy went out to celebrate their anniversary with friends from church: Skip Drury and Jim and Wendy Bath. Skip had bought tickets to see Carole King's Living Room Tour down at Ruth Eckerd Hall.

We went out to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack and then on to see the concert - which was absolutely fabulous. In addition to being a recording artist, Carole King has written countless hits sung by all different kinds of artists. Her daughter Louise Goffin also sang as well. It was just a really great concert and a lot of fun.

Working Out: Mommy and Daddy have been trying to exercise more here lately. On Friday, Daddy dug out the Total Gym from under the bed and Parker wanted to have a go at it. He loves to be right in there and learn the exercises that we're working on. Here he is in his jammies before bed.

Grandma: Grandma stopped by on Saturday morning to drop off our anniversary present and spend some time with the boys. She brought Parker's favorite - Dunkin' Donuts. He was a lot of fun later hopped up on the sugar from two chocolate covered sprinkle donuts and some chocolate milk. When Wesley woke up, he was hungry and so Grandma and Bubby took turns feeding him his cereal with apples. Later she and Parker put his big floor fish puzzle together and played monster trucks.

Trip to Home Depot: Tonight we needed to go out and get a few things for the house from Parker's favorite home improvement store. He especially loves the Tony Stewart race car carts at Home Depot. Wesley is doing great sitting up so he was able to join Bubby in the cart and hang on to the steering wheel.

The shirts the boys are wearing came from our friend Sheri Angwin at Wesley's baby shower. We've had to wait seven months for the boys to be able to fit into them together. On the front of Parker's t-shirt, it says, "I Wesley" and the front of Wesley's onesie reads "I Parker" - and of course, their names are on the back! Too cute!
