St. Patty's Day

Our sickie was feeling better and was able to go to school today. He had a great St. Patrick's Day even though Mommy forgot to dress him in green - oops! They had a little leprechaun "come visit" who sprinkled green glitter EVERYWHERE on the floor and rearranged all the chairs in his classroom while they were on the playground. Parker kept talking about what a mess it all was. But the leprechaun redeemed himself by setting up a treasure hunt for the kids that ended not with a pot of gold, but rather with a big box of Dunkin Donut holes as a prize.

The little guy was of course, completely unaware of today's significance. It was just another normal day at home - getting into absolutely everything! We are thinking of renaming Wesley and calling him the Tasmanian Devil instead. :) His curiosity combined with his ability to problem solve means that not a day goes by in our house that he doesn't figure out how to open some door or drawer or get things off counters, and generally something ends up broken or torn despite our best efforts. But he does it all with an adorable innocent face that makes it hard to stay mad for long.

This picture is from Christmas but is still one of our favorites of the two little men together:
