Daytona Beach Part Three

Wednesday morning we were nice and lazy and just bummed around the condo. After lunch we went over at 2pm to register for Annual Conference and get our nametags. Daddy also got a big surprise at the registration table - Uncle Clark came up behind him to give him a hug! Uncle Clark is living this summer at the FSU Wesley Foundation and he rode down to Annual Conference with some of the staff. Clark and Mommy had worked the whole surprise out a couple of weeks before which is one of the reasons our condo had a pull out couch in the living room! :)

We tooled around the Ministry Expo at Annual Conference for a while waiting for Uncle Clark to get out of a meeting. Most of the anniversary churches made banners celebrating and we found the one for Daddy's new church in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center.

For dinner we went to the Daytona Ale House. Eating at the Ale House is a time-honored tradition among the male Davis cousins, which usually happens during our beach trip to Siesta Key. The guys always order this special sandwich called "The Big Red" and both Clark and Daddy kept the tradition alive. We ate at a table outside and the restaurant had these great fans blowing a cooling mist over our heads. The boys love their Uncle Clark and had a great time hanging out with him.

After heading back to the condo, we went down to the pool and had lots of fun in the water and going down the slide!
