Beach Day with the Cousins

For Wednesday August 5th, the whole family was together as Uncle Daniel and his crew made a visit to the beach. This was really nice because it was also Grandmommy and Granddaddy's 37th wedding anniversary!

The weather was very overcast and you could see the storms way off in the distance across the water. We did get a few sprinkles on the beach but it wasn't bad. In fact, it helped us out because the weather chased pretty much everyone else off the beach and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! The cousins had lots of fun playing with toys on the shore and playing out in the water.

And there were lots of snacks thanks to Grandmommy. Wesley was really enjoying his CapriSun.

Then we took a trip to the pool and later on had some lunch. Next up was the annual cousin picture which we tried on the stairs this year.


After naptime, Grandmommy made dinner and we all ate out by the shuffleboard courts and then headed back into the pool where the kids had a blast jumping into the pool!

After the pool we wrapped up our evening going up to Grandmommy and Granddaddy's apartment to watch "So You Think You Can Dance' and have some popcorn and juice. Good times!
