Bowling Update

Today we took it nice and slow - watching Parker bowl, lunch at the mall food court (great sub place called Charleys), and a trip to WalMart for a few necessities. It was nice for the four of us to spend some time quality time together today without anyone having to run off in a different direction at some point (today was Daddy's first full day off since August 17th, because of his conference meetings and two funerals).

When we got to the bowling alley this morning we discovered that because of their actual scores plus their handicaps, that Parker's team "Kindergarten Rocks" had come in first place last week of all six teams that were playing!!!! Their team also was first place in the Team High Series Handicap. Parker had a few good individual scores from last week also: 2nd place for Boys High Average, 2nd place for Boys High Series Scratch and 1st place for Boys High Series Handicap. And with Daddy there to give some gentle advice, Parker did much better in bowling today with a 101, 79 and an 84 for his three games. But most of all, he had a lot of fun which is really the whole point anyway, right?
