Weekend Update

Yesterday, Mommy spent the day in Tampa at the St. Pete Times Forum with Grandma and her former youth leader, Sandy Naugle, at the Women of Faith Conference. It was a wonderful time that included a concert by Sandi Patty. When the afternoon session was over, Mommy ducked out of the evening stuff to drive back home for a youth spaghetti dinner at Belleview UMC. The whole family went and we had a great meal - salad, spaghetti with meat sauce, breadsticks (from Olive Garden), dessert and drinks! The youth served over 170 meals and had ran out of food twice necessitating some extra trips to the store. The best part was that they made over $800 towards next summer's mission trip! Then after the dinner, there was Movie Night in the sanctuary. We showed "Faith Like Potatoes" and over 92 people stayed to watch the movie, which was really interesting.

Today, Mommy headed back to Tampa for the day and the guys got to spend some real quality time together. First of all, Wesley woke up dry again!!!!! And shortly after breakfast Daddy was able to rush him to the potty in time and he pooped in the potty!!!!!! We are so excited. Then at 11am, Daddy took the boys down to the local bowling alley for what we thought would be an informational meeting about a bowling league for kids. Turns out that they put the bumpers up and let the kids bowl two games for free. Parker's great at this at home on the Wii and he was very excited for his first time in a bowling alley. He bowled an 89 and a 91! He also got a free hotdog and Sierra Mist for lunch at the alley. The league starts next week and runs through the end of October. The last couple of weeks may overlap with T-ball, but they will let him pre-bowl. So next Saturday, Parker starts bowling!!!!!
