Rain, Rain Go Away

The same rain that brought the parade to an early halt on the Fourth of July also cancelled the fireworks in Brandon and brought Grandmommy's plans of an outdoor picnic for dinner inside at home. The next day we had planned to spend hanging out poolside but we ended up just playing games inside and then letting the kids blow off some steam for a couple of hours in the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese.

After another picnic supper inside, we headed back to Ocala. A trip to Wal-Mart was necessary for Parker needed new sneakers and Wesley needed new sandals. Once we got home, Daddy sat down with Parker and he learned how to tie his shoes finally!!!!!!!!

Today was spent wrapping up a bunch of loose ends at home and church in preparation for Mommy's surgery tomorrow. We would certainly appreciate your prayers for her surgery and for a quick and full recovery.
