Sick Boy

Wesley came in bed with Mommy and Daddy about an hour before the alarm went off. He was pretty congested and snoring. We got Bubba off to school at the right time and woke Wesley up to check how he felt. He was so super tired, but did manage to say that his ear still hurt. So Mommy stayed home with him today and took him to the doctor about 10am this morning. Wesley sat so still while the nurse and the doctor looked in his ears and nose. Dr. Siddiqui said that he had an ear infection in both ears (the right "boo-boo" ear is worse) and the beginnings of a sinus infection. So we skipped the lower level antibiotics and went right for augmentin. He has to take it twice a day for ten days and then go back for a re-check. After picking up his meds, he got some lunch and then proceeded to go home and curl up on the couch with Mommy. He slept for 3.5 hours!

Wesley was still asleep when Daddy brought Parker home from school. And Parker had been to the clinic today during PE - he fell down and scraped up his knee good and gave himself a good bump on the head. Thankfully after some ice and a little TLC he was able to go back to class for the rest of the day.
