Spring Break - Orlando - Day Two (continued)

When we got back from the return trip on the train, it was almost time for the afternoon Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade. We found a comfortable spot and ate our snacks while we waited and watched.

Next up was the Pangani Exploration Trails where we saw monkeys, gorillas, fish and birds as we walked along and completed another of the Discovery Club exhibits.

Then it was time to redeem our Fast-passes for the Safari ride. From our open air jeep we got to see crocodiles, giraffes, elephants and rhinos. We had to stop a couple of times because the giraffes kept crossing the jeep path but it was neat to see them up so close.

The movement of the Jeep lulled Parker to sleep and he conked out for the last several minutes.

We swung through the Asia section but there wasn't much that Wesley could do because of his height - Kali River Rapis and Everest. So we walked through the jungle trek and saw some bats before heading back to Dinoland and letting the boys play in the Boneyard again before we headed out.
We left about 6:30pm and Wesley decided to take a rest on the tram headed back to the car.

All in all it was a very good first day of Disney parks! We stopped at Sweet Tomatoes in the Lake Buena Vista area and then headed back to our hotel. We even managed to spend some time in the pool and hot tub before hitting the bed.
