Derby Car Time

So the Pinewood Derby is coming up this Saturday for our Cub Scout pack.

Parker and Daryl have been hard at work over the last couple of days creating an amazing Derby car.

Daryl took pictures last year of the cars that placed fast at Council and 

did some extra research on car designs. All the weight is in the back now. 

Tonight was the practice runs on the Pack track. 

Parker's came in consistently very fast for both his den and the pack.
Looks like the new car design may have paid off.
While his car is slower heading down the hill, once it hits the straight away it zooms ahead.

Parker is definitely looking forward to Saturday and hoping for the chance to go to Districts 

for the third year in a row.
