Last week the doctor at Moffitt recommended my mom see a neurologist after viewing the MRIs of her back, pelvis and hip. Today she had that appointment. The neurologist told her that her pain was all related to some degeneration in her spine - places where the cancer had been in the bone and has left a void now that it is shrinking. There are three voids that are causing all of the pain because the bones are shifting and pinching nerves.
Thankfully there is something that can be done about this. Things are being put into place for surgery next week to have cement put into the voids to stop the pain. We would appreciate your continued prayers for her healing and health.
