A Visit From Grandma

Grandma came up to Ocala again yesterday to spend some time with Davis. We played at the house for a while before going to run some errands. She helped out with some other school supplies and clothes for the boys at Kohls and Target. The little guy sure enjoyed riding around the store in the electric scooter with Grandma.

And we went to Tijuana Flats for lunch. He didn't want his quesadilla, but he did eat my rice and refried beans and then his chips dipped into my cheese. Finally he decided to give up on the chips as a vehicle for the cheese and he just drank it straight from the cup! It was so stinkin' cute!

We made one other stop yesterday at the Asian grocery store in town. It's a tiny little one, but I did manage to find some goodies in the freezer section - pork dumplings and steamed buns stuffed with pork. When it came to dinnertime the rest of us ate pizza. But that is the one food that Davis doesn't seem to be crazy about. So instead we made him some steamed buns. He LOVED them. He guarded his plate and his extra bun with one hand, while he was eating his other bun!

We're so glad that Grandma could come and spend more time. We're looking forward to seeing her again for her birthday later this month.
